pstrongQuality Control Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing) /strong /ppbr / /ppstrongLocation: /strong Umbria, Italy /ppstrongEmployment type: /strong Permanent, Full-time /ppstrongSalary: /strong €50,000–€70,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and seniority. /ppbr / /ppstrongThe Opportunity /strong /ppWe are supporting a confidential, established Italian manufacturing business with the appointment of a senior Quality Control Manager. /ppThe organisation operates within a technically demanding manufacturing environment where product quality, traceability, inspection and conformity are critical. /ppThis is a senior position with responsibility for the Quality Control function, product inspection activities, non-conformity management and product conformity certification. /ppThe successful candidate will lead the Quality Control team and work closely with production, engineering, suppliers and other internal functions to ensure that manufactured products consistently meet the required technical and quality standards. /ppbr / /ppstrongThe Role /strong /ppAs Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that product quality-control activities are effectively planned, performed and documented. /ppYou will manage the Quality Control Inspectors and ensure inspection resources are allocated effectively across the manufacturing operation. /ppA particularly important aspect of the position is responsibility for the Certificate of Conformity (COC) and ensuring that the necessary inspection, testing and documentation requirements have been satisfied before product conformity is formally certified. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliManage and coordinate the Quality Control Inspectors. /liliDetermine and allocate resources required for effective product inspection. /liliDevelop, monitor and analyse Quality Control KPIs.
/liliCoordinate product conformity certification activities. /liliCoordinate conformity certification for relevant special processes performed by third parties. /liliSign and issue Certificates of Conformity. /liliIdentify, issue and record internal non-conformity reports. /liliManage non-conformity reports relating to suppliers of raw materials, machining operations and special processes. /liliSupport investigation of non-conformities and determination of root causes. /liliContribute to the definition and implementation of corrective actions. /liliEnsure compliance with the company's Integrated Management System and applicable procedures. /liliSupport effective management of measuring equipment and metrology activities. /liliWork collaboratively with production, engineering, suppliers and other company functions. /liliIdentify and implement technical improvements to Quality Control processes. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongCandidate Profile /strong /ppWe are looking for an experienced and technically strong quality professional with approximately 7–10 years of relevant industry experience, although more experienced candidates will be considered for the right position. /ppExperience within aerospace or aeronautical manufacturing would be highly advantageous. /ppCandidates from other structured manufacturing environments may also be considered where they have worked with comparable levels of product quality, process control, traceability and technical compliance. /ppbr / /ppstrongThe successful candidate will ideally have:
