RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Site Software Application Engineer to join our team in Venegono (Varese) within the Operating Engine Division.
Mission
In this role, you will support licensed engineers in engineering projects under direct customer control. You will contribute to the development, integration, and testing of software components and applications within complex simulation platforms, as well as the preparation of technical specifications, reports, and other engineering-related documentation.
You will work with Software, Simulation, and System Engineers on integration, troubleshooting, and validation activities. A good background in software development and programming, with an interest in modelling & simulation and real-time systems, is preferred.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist with Engineering Projects: Support licensed engineers in the preparation of design calculations, drafting, and designing Engineering projects.
- Technical Documentation: Provide assistance in writing Technical specifications, reports,



and conducting inspections and studies under the supervision of licensed engineers.
- Computer-Assisted Engineering: Utilize Computer-Assisted Engineering and design or integrate software and equipment to perform various Engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Field Work and Maintenance: perform fieldwork tasks such as obtaining Field information, checking installations, troubleshooting, and participating in equipment and system Maintenance and repair.
- Safety and Security: Observe Safety and Security procedures at all times, report potentially unsafe conditions, and ensure the proper use of equipment and materials.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Qualifications
- Entry-level experience required.
