Overview The American Overseas School of Rome is seeking a passionate and skilled High School English Teacher to deliver engaging instruction in literature, writing, and critical thinking. The ideal educator will support students’ academic growth while promoting a love for language and literature in an international school setting.
Key Responsibilities Teach High School English courses, including literature, composition, and language arts.





Plan and deliver learner-centered lessons aligning with AOSR curriculum standards.

Develop students’ analytical, reading, and writing skills through diverse teaching methods.

Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Support students preparing for advanced studies, projects, and assessments.

Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that respects cultural diversity.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.

Participate in school events, professional development, and departmental meetings.
