Job Description

A major European logistics and distribution company is hiring a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to manage daily operations in their Verona distribution hub. You will coordinate a team of 25+ warehouse workers, optimise picking and packing workflows and ensure on‑time dispatch rates above 98%.

This is a hands‑on role requiring someone who thrives in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking and shipping

- Manage and motivate a team of 25+ warehouse operators across two shifts

- Monitor KPIs: on‑time dispatch, picking accuracy,



inventory shrinkage

- Implement lean warehouse practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with transport planning for optimised loading schedules

Must-have Requirements

-

- 2+ years experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination

- Experience managing teams of 10+ people

- Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)

- Forklift certification is a plus xysqume

Nice-to-have Requirements

- Experience with automated sorting systems

- Knowledge of lean/kaizen methodologies

- SAP WM/EWM experience
