A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved,



because it aims to identify and make available those innovative technologies, called enabling technologies, which will ensure the generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations.

The resources that will work within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.

Within the Avionic Systems Area, we are looking for an Avionic System Architect for our Turin/UK office.

The selected candidate will be inserted into the Avionics Systems unit and must be able to contribute to the development, integration and qualification activities of avionic systems for fixed-wing aircraft and ground support/integration systems. Avionic Systems include Basic Systems (e.g., Display, Communication, Navigation), Weapon Control Systems, Mission Systems and Self-Defense/Protection Systems, embedded Training systems as well as ground support systems.

The candidate will primarily be responsible for:

- Definition, design, integration, qualification and support for certification and operation of avionic systems

- Development of functional, interface and HW/SW requirements for avionic systems - in line with operational effectiveness and aircraft safety and Airworthiness requirements

- System design and modeling

- Support for Safety and Security analyzes

Required Qualification:

Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of project engineering aspects

- Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++ programming languages





- Knowledge of SysML and UML methodology

- Knowledge of Model Based Design (MBD) and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) principles for the development of avionic systems.

- Knowledge of the main MBSE frameworks: MagicGrid and Harmony. Knowledge and application of Model Driven Architecture (MDA) principles.

- Knowledge of Agile methodology

- Knowledge of the main applicable design and certification standards (RTCA, MIL, FAA, EASA)

- Knowledge of the main avionic communication protocols (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, AFDX)

- Knowledge of the main avionic systems with particular reference to safety critical systems

- Knowledge of Open Standards and Government Reference Architecture (GRA) oriented towards 6th generation military aircraft (Pyramid, FACE).

- Knowledge of principles of functional analysis of customer requirements and subsequent definition of system specifications

- Knowledge of logical design principles for avionic systems.

- Knowledge of preliminary physical design principles and relative sizing in bulk, weight and power of a sixth generation avionic weapon subsystem

- Ability to define requirements relating to avionic systems.

- Ability to generate and decompose system and subsystem requirements

- Participation in periodic demonstration sessions to present modeling results to stakeholders
