ppBuilding Management Systems Engineer JamMonza, Italy /ppbSalary: /b Up to €85,000 + Package /ppbSector: /b Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure /ppbEmployment: /b Permanent /ppWe're working with a leading engineering contractor delivering a major data centre project in Milan, and they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior BMS Engineer to take ownership of the technical delivery.
/ppThis is a hands?on senior role for someone who can take a functional specification, coordinate the engineering and subcontractors, and make sure the finished BMS system works exactly as intended.
/ph3The Role /h3pYou'll take ownership of Tier 2 engineering and design submittals, including: /pulliI/O and data point lists /liliEquipment schedules and schematics /liliDevice and wiring layouts /liliPanel design and interlocks /liliFunctional specifications /liliDemonstration and acceptance documentation /liliOM documentation /li /ulpYou'll ensure mechanical equipment submittals meet project requirements and translate functional specifications into fully operational BMS systems.
/ppYou'll also be involved in off?site testing, change control and design coordination, ensuring changes are properly recorded and auditable throughout the project.
/ph3During Construction /h3pYou'll have responsibility for coordinating the BMS subcontractor and supporting the wider project team, including: /pulliManaging the subcontractor team on a day?to?day basis /liliMonitoring programme, deliveries,



engineering issues and quality /liliSupporting site safety and training requirements /liliAttending technical and progress meetings /liliParticipating in W1, W2 and W3 site walkdowns /liliCoordinating engineering issues with the wider construction team /li /ulpAs the project progresses towards completion, you'll support the full testing, commissioning and handover process, including: /pulliEnsuring testing and commissioning follows the project Quality Plan /liliCertifying live BMS systems ahead of handover /liliDemonstrating systems to the client and relevant stakeholders /liliDelivering OM manuals and record drawings /liliSupporting demobilisation and final handover /liliProducing project close?out documentation /li /ulh3What We're Looking For /h3pWe're looking for an experienced BMS Engineer operating at Senior level, ideally with a background in: /pulliCritical infrastructure /liliLarge?scale commercial or industrial projects /li /ulpYou should be technically strong, comfortable working autonomously and experienced in coordinating BMS engineering, design and specialist subcontractors.
/ppThe ideal candidate will be someone who can take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do - with strong attention to detail and a genuine understanding of how BMS systems need to operate within complex mechanical and electrical environments.
