Their mission: to provide expertise, innovation and the ability to deliver.For over 20 years, Abylsen has established itself as a major player in engineering consultancy in Europe and supports more than 660 clients with their industrial, digital and operational projects.Our areas of expertise: - R&D; - Production & operations - Digital & IT - Industrialization - Validation & testing - Maintenance & safetyWe are looking for aMechanical System Engineerto join our Rail Engineering Unit and contribute to advanced railway projects, with a focus on thedevelopment and integration of gangway and railway coupling subsystems .
Main activities:Define, manage, and verifymechanical subsystem requirementsin compliance with railway standards and project specifications.Support theintegration of mechanical subsystemsinto railway vehicles, managing mechanical, kinematic, structural, and functional interfaces.Contribute to subsystemarchitecture, configuration, and operating modes .
CoordinateVerification & Validation activities, including functional, mechanical, and integration testing.Act as the technical reference for assigned subsystems, interfacing withcustomers, suppliers, designers, and project teams .
Participate inDesign Reviewsand technical meetings.Collaborate with Requirements Management, Mechanical Design,
Structural Engineering, RAMS, Safety, Validation, and Manufacturing teams.Prepare and reviewtechnical specifications, interface documentation, test procedures, and verification reports .
Technical skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree inMechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.Experience or knowledge ofSystem Engineering applied to mechanical systems .
Experience inrequirements management, interface definition, mechanical integration, and V&V; .
Knowledge of mechanical/kinematic interfaces, loads, movements, installation constraints, and operating conditions.Good communication skills and proficiency intechnical English .
