Within the Safety, RMT & LSA area, we are looking for a System Safety Engineer, for our Turin office.

The resource will deal with the following activities:

- Definition of aircraft level safety requirements for the specific program in accordance with the Customer and the Certification Authority;

- Allocation of aircraft safety objectives to systems / equipment / installations;

- Definition of safety requirements attributable to Software and Complex Electronic Hardware;

- Monitoring of equipment safety requirements, through evaluation and validation of technical documentation;

- Conduct of preliminary qualitative safety analyses: “Functional Hazard Analysis” (FHA) / “Preliminary Hazard Analysis” (PHA), for the identification of critical functions and for the implementation of necessary redundancies in the system design, ensuring adequate safety levels;

- Conduct of quantitative safety analyses “Fault Tree Analysis” (FTA);

- Verification of the achievement of all qualitative and quantitative safety requirements, through the “System Safety Assessment” (SSA);





- Conduct of safety analyses complementary to functional ones, “Zonal Hazard Analysis” (ZHA) / “Particular Risk Analysis” (PRA) / Common Mode Analysis (CMA), for the identification of risk conditions caused by system installations in the aircraft and for the verification of the implementation of proposed corrective actions;

- Definition of the “Master Minimum Equipment List”;

- Investigation of the causes of malfunctions capable of compromising the safety of pilots, service personnel and third parties overflown.

Education: Master's Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering.

Technical knowledge and skills:

- Experience in the development of on-board aeronautical systems;

- Knowledge of international Airworthiness and Safety regulations related to the Certification/Qualification of aeronautical systems;

- Knowledge and experience in System Safety;

- Knowledge of FTA development software (Safety Commander, CAFTA Isograph FaultTree+);

- Knowledge and experience in Reliability, Maintainability, Testability analysis disciplines (e.g. FMECA Analysis);

- Knowledge of SW for the system model based approach (CAMEO);
