This role in summary The Product Sustainability Intern will support the Regulatory Affairs team in the development and launch of products by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing technical documentation, and collaborating with R&D;, Quality, Marketing and Production teams. They will support the verification that all products comply with the regulations in the target markets.
Your responsibilities will include
- Product sustainability compliance — Support for sustainability matters and chemical product compliance.
- Regulatory monitoring and policy analysis — Support the review of upcoming EU legislation, contribute to the preparation of regulatory summaries and presentations, and participate in interactions with European institutions and industry associations.
- Supplier documentation — Check the compliance of suppliers’ declarations of conformity and technical documentation.
- Test report analysis — Support R&D; and the material compliance team in assessing product test reports.
- EU Policy & Regulatory monitoring — Support the monitoring and analysis of environmental and chemical legislation under development within the European Union, gaining exposure to the European Commission's policymaking process and stakeholder consultations.
Minimum requirements
- Currently studying in a Master's degree in Management Engineering, Environment, Sustainability, Chemistry or related scientific or technical fields.
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (written and spoken).
- Interest in understanding regulatory frameworks and contributing to compliance activities
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
