Purpose of the position: As Piping Material Engineer you will be part of the ENCAR Business Line, within Layout and Piping engineering team.
The position requires knowledge of international standards in the field of piping components and experience in the design of line specification (piping class), resulting in the ability to independently develop your tasks.
How can you support us?
- Definition of piping material specifications starting from contractual documentation;
- Issuing material requisition (technical supply specification) for purchasing piping components;
- Issuing technical bid evaluation on piping components;
- Managing supplier documentation downstream of order issue;
- Site assistance.
What are we looking for? The Piping Material Engineer will work on FEED and EPC projects in compliance with the required deadlines. The candidate will be able to move in a context characterized by a marked presence of technical software’s and digital platform to aid design and material management. Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Material Engineering or similar qualification
Background: 3 years as a piping material engineer in similar context
Languages: Proficiency in English
Technical/IT Knowledge: PUMA, Aveva ERM, Smart Plant Material, Office,
Knowledge of International standards such as ASME/ASTM/EN and customer standards (Saudi Aramco / Shell / ...), Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
