Overview
The primary purpose of this position will be to support and maintain the Vascular division in the assigned area in close collaboration with the Country Business Manager, Regional Business Managers and European support functions.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities will encompass, but will not be limited to: Meetings & Events:
- Develop and manage the commercial plan for workshops within the country, being the liaison person between the sales teams, Training team, Medical Education team,
Marketing & Product Management
- Maintain an overview of and manage the workshops & congresses within the country in collaboration with the support functions
- Participate in local and international exhibitions and meetings as required
- Attend local pre-congress meeting with organizer and negotiate support (€) and podium as required
- Be the point of reference for local Medtech companies and branch organisations
- Keep up to date on international and national Ethics and Compliance guidelines (Mdeon)
- Support contract development in conjunction with the Medical Education team and Clinical Programs as required
- Ensure all required congress materials are available
- Support HCP contract system in collaboration with the Country Business Manager and Regional Business Managers
Interaction with internal functions: Collaborate with Product Management and Reimbursement team
- Be the point of reference for Product Management when updating products (product news, new codes, notification lists, etc.)
- Be the point of reference for Product Management when information is required (translation, forms on product usage, etc.)
- Be the point of reference for the sales teams when information is required (technical information on Cook and competitor products, technical sheet, letters about products, etc.)
- Look after all product lines
Collaborate with Marketing
- Keep a clear and clean event list (congresses, workshops, etc.)
- Ensure relevant persons attend to support meetings and events; coordinate booth schedule
- Manage pre- and post-congress tasks (distribution of leads, evaluations etc.)
Collaborate with Account Specialists and Clinical Support Specialists
- Support for presentations
- Create and control presentations in collaboration with Product Management
Collaborate with Regional Business Managers and the Country Business Manager
- Report all the above activities to Regional Business Managers
- Support leadership team where necessary
Collaborate with Clinical Programs
- Liaise between the sales teams and Clinical Program on all aspects of advocacy program
Securing Employee Development and Organisational Culture:

- Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements are met
- Understand and follow company quality policies and procedures with respect to Complaint Handling, Product Returns, Samples, Consignment Stock and any other areas as appropriate
- Comply with travel and subsistence rules and submit expense reports in a timely manner
- Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies
- Secure the Cook culture and comply with company guidelines & policies
Collaboration:
- Work closely and effectively with the other members of the sales team, Clinical Programs, Product Management and Marketing in order to provide the best possible service to the customer and the patient
- Work closely with the Medical Education group to ensure correct procedures and support is achieved to promote successful programs
Qualifications
- Third level qualification advantageous or relevant experience in organising medical training and meetings.
- Language skills: good written and verbal command of English and other relevant languages.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to motivate a national/multi-national team.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Sense of urgency and ability to adapt to stress.
- Product and/or procedural knowledge would be an advantage.
- High self-motivation.
- Availability and willingness to travel.
