As a Robotics Software Engineer, you will play a key role in validating, testing, and supporting the software used in Caracol's additive manufacturing systems. You will work closely with the Customer Success, Engineering and R&D; teams , helping troubleshoot technical issues and ensuring our customers achieve optimal performance from our technologies. This role combines technical troubleshooting, software validation, and customer-facing support , offering exposure to cutting-edge automation and additive manufacturing systems.



Perform software testing and validation on Caracol's additive manufacturing software, ensuring correct functionality and performance. Execute hands-on robotic 3D printing tests to validate toolpath planning, slicing processes, and printing quality on large-scale AM systems. Help technical support and field engineering teams in troubleshooting Level 2 software-related issues, occasionally interacting with customers. Provide internal training and guidance to support teams to help them handle common Level 1 technical requests. Collaborate with R&D; and software teams to report bugs, suggest improvements, and collect feedback from real production use. Ideal Background: Degree or Technical diploma (ITS) in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field 1-3 years of experience in software testing and validation, as well as technical customer support, within the industrial automation or robotics sector.
