About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Demand Planner to support the Supply Chain and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) functions.
Reporting directly to the Demand Planning Coordinator the candidate will contribute to demand forecasting activities, data analysis, and cross-functional planning processes, including the following activities:
- Planning demand and material procurement for upgrade projects based on delivery schedules.
- Monitoring purchase orders and material availability, proactively managing critical issues and requests.
- Coordinating production and procurement activities through regular cross-functional alignment meetings with dedicated departments, involving Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse.
- Analyzing demand trends and future requirements within the S&OP; process, anticipating the procurement of critical materials.
- Managing purchase requisitions, while monitoring lead times and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitoring and optimizing inventory levels, reducing excess stock and working capital absorption.
- Contributing to obsolescence reduction initiatives by promoting material reuse or resale and cancelling unnecessary orders.
- Maintaining and updating master data and planning parameters to ensure effective procurement and inventory management.
- Developing and monitoring KPIs to support decision-making and drive continuous process improvement.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Master's Degree in Engineering Management, Economics or related field; alternative educational backgrounds will be considered based on relevant experience and skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage data effectively
- Problem-solving mindset
- English proficiency
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 36000, in line with experience.
The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role. A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.
The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
