Discover the Global Development team
JAKALA has grown fast, largely through acquisitions across multiple countries.
Global
Development is the team that turns those acquisitions into one Group, while also driving the Group's cross-country commercial growth agenda. We lead the integration of systems, processes and culture of newly acquired companies, working side by side with country leadership and the Group HQ — and, in parallel, we help strengthen commercial synergies across the Group, supporting JAKALA's regions in expanding and broadening their offering.
We then bring the same playbook to our global clients facing similar challenges of acquisition-led growth and integration.
We are a small, senior-led team. That means direct exposure to Partners,
country Managing Directors and Group functions from day one, real ownership of workstreams, and a steep learning curve.
? Your responsibilities:
- Drive post-merger integration workstreams: assess how acquired companies operate today, redesign key processes and define common standards and target operating models between local entities and the HQ
- Contribute to cross-country commercial growth initiatives: help strengthen commercial synergies across the Group and support JAKALA's Regions in expanding and broadening their offering
- Be the connection between Group and countries: coordinate Group functions (Finance, Marketing, IT, etc.) and local teams on integration plans, milestones, governance and issue resolution, ensuring consistency across systems, processes and culture
- Work with senior stakeholders: prepare and contribute to steering committees and executive materials, engage with internal and external stakeholders (including C-level) to keep teams aligned across countries
? If you see yourself in these characteristics, we could be the perfect match:
- Degree in Economics, Engineering, Management or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in Strategy/Management Consulting, Transaction Services/PMI, Corporate Development, or Group-level strategy and transformation roles
- Structured problem solver: you can turn an ambiguous situation into a clear plan, a solid Excel model and a convincing PowerPoint storyline
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and able to own a workstream end-to-end
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL), previous exposure to post-merger integration, carve-outs, target operating model design, or fluency in a third language will be considered as a plus
