We are looking for a curious, motivated person who is eager to learn and take on new challenges to join theEngineering team at COSMED (Rome)for a6-month paid internshipinVerification & Validation (V&V;).
?What we are looking for
Master's degree in Engineering
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Good knowledge ofMicrosoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Good knowledge of theEuropean Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR ********)
Ability to work inmultidisciplinary teams, collaborating with professionals with different backgrounds
Curiosity and a strong analytical andproblem-solving attitude
Willingness toexperiment, learn and challenge yourself
Interest in both practical testing activities andtechnical/regulatory documentation
Proactive attitude and willingness to investigate issues, identify root causes and contribute to their resolution
?What you will do
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience inVerification & Validation of medical devices and software, taking part in activities such as:
Performing and documentingin-vitro testsand experimental activities




Defining and executing test protocols
Analysing and interpreting test results
Investigating anomalies and supportingproblem-solving and root cause analysis
Supporting product and software verification and validation activities
Preparingcompliance reports against applicable standards, guidelines and regulatory requirements
Supporting the assessment of product compliance with relevantguidelines and technical requirements
Preparing technical documentation and test reports
Collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, and other multidisciplinary teams
Working with testing equipment and methodologies in a highly technical and multidisciplinary environment
?Above all, we are looking for curiosity and a willingness to learn:you don't need to know everything from day one, but you should be willing to ask questions, experiment, investigate problems and turn them into solutions.
