QUALITY ENGINEER – 2-YEAR UK ASSIGNMENT Mission of the RoleThe Quality Engineer will ensure product and project quality in line with internal processes, applicable standards and contractual requirements.Working closely with the Project Manager, as well as customers and suppliers, the role will support the product across the full lifecycle, from bid/tender and offer phase, through design & development, manufacturing, up to final delivery and acceptance.In addition, the position will contribute to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS), supporting activities such as system maintenance, audits linked to certifications, supplier qualification and ongoing compliance. continuous improvement and implementation of Product Assurance / Quality processes within the companyPerform and/or support Design Reviews to ensure customer and contractual requirements are metManage Configuration Management throughout the entire product lifecycleEnsure management of Non-Conformities, in compliance with applicable standards, procedures and customer requirementsPrepare and maintain project Product Assurance documentation.Participate in formal customer reviews and/or product acceptance phasesEnsure manufacturing and production processes comply with internal procedures, standards and quality requirementsPerform or coordinate internal audits (product and process) and manage corrective actions and follow-upInterface with customers and suppliers on Quality / Product Assurance topicsContribute to bid and proposal preparations from a Quality/Product Assurance standpoint Experience & Background xdwybme Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering or other relevant disciplines)2–5 years of professional experience gained in Quality, Manufacturing/Production, Design or Engineering roles, preferably within Aerospace & Defence or other complex industrial environmentsFamiliarity with quality processes, standards and/or product lifecycle management would be considered an advantageExperience in defining and implementing ISO 9001 / AS9100 / EMAR would be considered an advantageGood command of English, both written and spokenAvailability for a two-year assignment in the UK, followed by relocation back to Italy
