Network Engineer

Location: Modena, Italy

Working Arrangement: Predominantly onsite, Modena

Salary: €35,000 - €55,000 RAL, depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are working with an established System Integrator that is looking to add a Network Engineer to its growing technical team in Modena.

This is an excellent opportunity for a networking professional who enjoys working across different customer environments and technical projects. You will be exposed to a broad range of networking and security technologies, working directly on the design, deployment, support and troubleshooting of customer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy and support network solutions across customer environments
- Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure
- Troubleshoot network, connectivity and wider infrastructure issues
- Support customer projects, installations and technical deployments
- Manage incidents, changes and service requests through to resolution
- Work closely with customers, internal technical teams and project stakeholders
- Provide technical support and guidance across a range of networking environments
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule when required

Technical Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in networking and infrastructure, ideally gained within a System Integrator, Managed Service Provider or IT consultancy environment.





You should have experience with a selection of technologies such as:

- Cisco
- Cisco Meraki
- Aruba
- Juniper
- Fortinet
- Palo Alto
- Switching and routing
- Firewalls and network security
- Wireless networking

You will also need:

- Strong networking and infrastructure knowledge
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team
- Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
- A proactive approach to resolving technical issues

Working Pattern
