As the business continues to grow its project pipeline, they're looking to strengthen their Engineering team with an Electrical Engineer who can support projects across development, detailed design and construction.This is a hands-on technical role with a particular focus on PV plant design and grid interconnectivity, working closely with Development, Procurement, external engineering consultants and wider project teams.What you'll be doingCarry out preliminary and detailed design ofsolar PV plants, including plant layouts and electrical sizing.Design and evaluateMV and HV grid connection solutions .Assess grid connection configurations for both self-consumption and grid feed-in projects.Support early-stage project development throughyield assessments, grid connection analysis and preliminary engineering .Prepare electrical schematics, technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.Review technical and design documentation produced by external engineering consultants.Support Procurement with the technical evaluation and selection of modules, inverters,



trackers and other key components.Support renewable energy projects throughout the wider development and construction process.Depending on experience, contribute to the engineering ofBESS and wind projectsalongside the core solar portfolio.What we're looking forAt least3 years' experiencein electrical engineering within renewable energy, ideally with 3–5 years of relevant project experience.Strong hands-on experience insolar PV plant design .Experience using specialist PV design software such asPVcase, PVsyst and/or PV*SOL .Strong experience withgrid interconnectivity and grid connection design, ideally across MV and/or HV connections.Proficiency inAutoCADand electrical design/CAD tools.Ability to produce technical reports, electrical schematics and engineering drawings.Knowledge of relevantCEI, IEC and UNI technical standards .Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.Strong English communication skills.Experience withBESS and/or wind projectswould be advantageous.What's on offerJoin a growing renewable energy business with an active project pipeline across Italy.Work across projects from early-stage development and feasibility through detailed engineering and construction.Exposure to solar PV, grid connection and potentially BESS and wind projects. xysqume Opportunity to work closely with multiple teams across Development, Engineering and Procurement.Location:Rome, ItalyIf you're an Electrical Engineer with strongPV design and grid connection experiencelooking for your next opportunity in the Italian renewable energy market, we'd love to hear from you.
