The Opportunity
We are looking for anAgentic AI Expertto join an innovative R&D; team developingnext-generation Model-Based Engineering (MBE) and Model-Based Design (MBD) tools.
The role sits at the intersection ofAI, software engineering and model-based engineering, with a strong focus on integrating the latestagentic AI technologiesinto existing engineering tools.
You will work as aSystem Engineer, helping evolve proprietary MBD platforms through AI-assisted simulation, code generation, diagram generation and automated testing.
You will join a highly collaborative team of engineers, researchers and PhDs working on advanced technology projects acrossdigital power, electric vehicles and next-generation engineering solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Drive the evolution of proprietaryMBD tools towards AI-assisted engineering
Integrateagentic AI technologiesinto existing engineering products
Develop AI-powered approaches for simulation, code and test generation
Design and implement efficientmulti-agent AI architectures
Build and integrateRAG, orchestration and tool-calling capabilities
Work with AI coding agents and modern LLM development frameworks
Develop solutions usingOpenAI APIs, MCP servers and tool calling
Analyse and optimise complex distributed LLM pipelines
Improvelatency, scalability and token efficiency
Support large-scale and efficient simulation workflows
Contribute to automated regression testing and validation
Work across AI, software and model-based engineering disciplines




Collaborate with researchers and engineering teams to turn emerging AI technologies into practical product capabilities
The key focus is onbringing agentic AI into engineering workflowsand creating tools that can intelligently assist with modelling, simulation, coding and testing.
Technical Experience
We are looking for strong hands-on experience acrossAI/LLM engineering and software development, particularly:
ExcellentPython and Javaprogramming skills
AI frameworks such asLangChain, LangGraph, Docling, PyTorchor similar
Hands-on experience withAI coding agents, such as Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex or equivalent
OpenAI API
MCP servers
Tool calling and function calling
Agentic AI patterns and architectures
Multi-agent systems
RAG and AI orchestration
Integration of AI capabilities into existing software products
Distributed AI systems
Token and latency optimisation
Software testing and particularlyregression testing
Model-Based Engineering concepts such asUML, Simulink and Stateflow
Ideally, you will have:
M.Sc.
in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
PhD experience is highly desirable
Strong software engineering fundamentals




Proven hands-on experience buildingagentic AI solutions
Experience taking AI concepts beyond experimentation and integrating them into real products
Strong understanding of LLM architecture, orchestration and tool use
Ability to analyse and optimise complex AI systems
A product-oriented and practical mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong initiative and ability to work independently
Fluency inEnglish
Comfortable working within an international, multicultural environment
Willingness totravel across Europe and China
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
Model quantisation, distillation or fine-tuning
C++
RTOS or control/vehicle software development
Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF)
MLOps
CI/CD frameworks
Automotive or embedded software development
Advanced model-based engineering environments
