PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join our client on a Data Centre project in Italy. This is a full time, permanent role based in Bertonico.

The Job: This role will be responsible for managing all Mechanical works on site, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements • Manage and oversee all Mechanical construction activities across the project lifecycle • Lead day-to-day mechanical site operations in coordination with the wider project team • Ensure QA/QC processes are implemented and maintained in line with project specifications and standards • Coordinate project schedules with Planners, Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants, and design teams • Manage mechanical subcontractor performance, including progress tracking, manpower levels, and coordination meetings • Ensure all subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained and up to date • Attend and lead Site Meetings, Engineering Reviews, Planning Meetings, and Handover Meetings • Liaise with the design team to ensure construction information and technical submittals are issued in line with programme requirements • Review drawings, specifications,



and submittals to ensure quality, compliance, and buildability of mechanical systems • Ensure adherence to health & safety standards and drive a strong safety culture on site • Support commercial management by tracking variations, managing costs, and attending weekly commercial meetings • Issue progress reports to senior management and the project team • Manage mechanical snagging activities and ensure effective and timely close-out • Proactively identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination issues

Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar xpavfwm discipline • Minimum 8+ years’ experience within mechanical construction, with a focus on site management • Proven experience managing mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, and associated services) on large-scale construction projects • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, coordination, and programme delivery • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills • Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, installation practices, and commissioning processes • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive project delivery • Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
