Overview

In this role you will manage domestic and international shipments within the Import Export Department, coordinating with Logistics, Packaging, Sales and Finance to ensure smooth operations. You will optimize shipment processes, ensure compliance and accurate documentation, and act as the link with freight forwarders and customs brokers. The role emphasizes SAP-based handling of shipment data and documentation, with an impact on delivery timelines and regulatory compliance. This is a hands-on position at a global industrial group that values cross-functional collaboration and proactive problem solving.

Responsabilità

- Organize and coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Manage import/export and customs documentation
- Prepare export invoices and customs documentation
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
- Monitor shipments until final delivery




- Collaborate with Packaging to define shipping methods and packaging specifications
- Work with Sales to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and delivery deadlines
- Collaborate with Finance on administrative and fiscal aspects of shipping operations
- Use SAP for shipment management, documentation, invoicing and data storage
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures

Requisiti fondamentali

- At least 5 years of Import/Export experience in international freight forwarders or logistics providers
- Knowledge of Express, road, sea, and air freight
- Excellent English; additional languages a plus
- Strong understanding of international trade documentation and procedures
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Experience in the automatic machinery, plant engineering, or capital equipment sectors
