What does the company do?
The company is building the first General Hosting Platform: drag, drop, deploy, and no configuration. The product is real, early, and improving fast. They recently closed their pre-seed round and are growing the team.
What’s it like working here?
The environment features a small team, short feedback loops, and no layers. You will work closely with their co-founder, who leads design, taking on more of the day-to-day execution so things move faster without losing consistency.
The challenge: turning technical concepts into frictionless UI
As the UI/UX Designer, you will take ownership of execution across the core product surface and marketing assets. You will work directly under and alongside the co-founder who owns the design direction.
Key responsibilities include
- Designing the core product surface, including the dashboard, project management, and deploy flow in Figma, from wireframe to shipped UI.
- Building on existing patterns to evolve them into something more coherent, rather than starting from a blank page.
- Contributing to and helping maintain the design system as the platform grows.
- Covering marketing surfaces, such as site and campaign assets,
utilizing Photoshop where needed.
- Translating technical concepts—like containers, deploys, and infrastructure—into a simple UI for a developer audience that has no patience for friction.
Who are we looking for? Someone who combines a good eye for detail and craft, even when moving fast. Ideal candidates will have:
- 0 to 3 years of experience; strong new grads with a solid portfolio are very welcome.
- Solid skills in Figma and comfort in Photoshop, which is a core requirement.
- The ability to read an existing pattern and extend it, making it better rather than just executing a spec.
- Comfort in working closely with and taking direction from a design lead, while still bringing original ideas.
- (Nice to have) Motion design skills using After Effects, Principle, or similar tools.
- (Nice to have) Interest in or exposure to developer-facing products.
The offer
- Base compensation of €30-35k.
- Full-time contract.
- On-site location in Bologna, Italy, 5 days a week.
- Immediate start (immediate availability is strongly preferred as this is an urgent hire).
