The position involves an initial two-year assignment in the UK, followed by a return to Italy (Rome). /p pstrongQUALITY ENGINEER – 2-YEAR UK ASSIGNMENT /strong /p pstrongMission of the Role /strong /ppThe Quality Engineer will ensure product and project quality in line with internal processes, applicable standards and contractual requirements. /ppWorking closely with the Project Manager, as well as customers and suppliers, the role will support the product across the full lifecycle, from bid/tender and offer phase, through design development, manufacturing, up to final delivery and acceptance. /ppIn addition, the position will contribute to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS), supporting activities such as system maintenance, audits linked to certifications, supplier qualification and ongoing compliance. /p pstrongMain Responsibilities /strong /pulliContribute to the definition, continuous improvement and implementation of Product Assurance / Quality processes within the company /liliPerform and/or support Design Reviews to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met /liliManage Configuration Management throughout the entire product lifecycle /liliEnsure management of Non-Conformities, in compliance with applicable standards,



procedures and customer requirements /liliPrepare and maintain project Product Assurance documentation. /liliParticipate in formal customer reviews and/or product acceptance phases /liliEnsure manufacturing and production processes comply with internal procedures, standards and quality requirements /liliPerform or coordinate internal audits (product and process) and manage corrective actions and follow-up /liliInterface with customers and suppliers on Quality / Product Assurance topics /liliContribute to bid and proposal preparations from a Quality/Product Assurance standpoint /li /ul pstrongExperience Background /strong /pulliMaster’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering or other relevant disciplines) /lili2–5 years of professional experience gained in Quality, Manufacturing/Production, Design or Engineering roles, preferably within Aerospace Defence or other complex industrial environments /liliFamiliarity with quality processes, standards and/or product lifecycle management would be considered an advantage /liliExperience in defining and implementing ISO 9001 / AS9100 / EMAR would be considered an advantage /liliGood command of English, both written and spoken /liliAvailability for a two-year assignment in the UK, followed by relocation back to Italy /li /ul
