Through laser-based wireless power transmission, we aim to overcome the energy limitations of today’s satellites and enable longer, more capable, and more resilient operations in orbit. /ppAs a Senior Embedded/Firmware Engineer, you will own the architecture, implementation, and validation of low-level and real-time software connecting ORiS sensors, actuators, control algorithms, and computing platforms. /ppYou will lead the development of reliable, deterministic, and maintainable software on microcontrollers, embedded processors, SoCs, and real-time platforms used in ORiS laser transmission systems such as LOONA. /ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliDefine firmware architecture, interfaces, execution models, coding practices, and verification strategy. /liliLead development of drivers, hardware-abstraction layers, acquisition pipelines, actuator control, communications, diagnostics, and calibration. /liliEnsure deterministic timing, scheduling, interrupt, DMA, synchronization, data-integrity, and resource-management behaviour. /liliLead integration of control and perception algorithms into production embedded targets. /liliDefine watchdog, health-monitoring, fault-detection, safe-state, recovery, bootloader, update, and configuration strategies. /liliDrive automated testing, HIL, regression, debugging, performance optimization, and release readiness. /liliResolve complex hardware/software issues with laboratory instrumentation and cross-functional teams. /liliMentor engineers and collaborate with Electronics, Control, Robotics, Optical, and Systems Engineering. /li /ulh3What We Are Looking For /h3ulliBSc or MSc in Computer, Electrical, Electronics,
