PURPOSE OF THE JOB

- Managing CAD activities
- Performing 3D detailed design of Carbody Shell structure
- Performing 2D design of primary parts and assemblies
- Managing subcontrating or work done in Shared Engineering Center

Main Responsibilities Performance Measurement/KPI’s

- Installation lead time delivery after complete reception of P phase 3D
- Respect of DMU classification rules
- Quality of deliverables (first time right)

Responsibilities Accountable and responsible for: (activities that cannot be delegated to N-1 in the operational org. chart - CAD) - Managing CAD activities

- Ensuring interface with subcontractors

Accountable for:



(can be done by the MDE or delegated to CAD)
- 3D Detailed design of structural parts considering
- Allocated volumes given as inputs
- Interfaces defined with stakeholders
- Load cases
- Technical referential (materials characteristics, ECA constraints,...)
- Manufacturability constraints
- 2D or annotated 3D Detailed design of structural parts considering internal rules of data structuration

Contributes to
- Providing weight data to Weight Discipline Engineer
- Calculation optimization with Structural Integrity Discipline Engineer
- Dimensional management activity (A is MLE (CBS impact only) or TOL-LE (train level impact))

Main Required Competencies Educational Requirements & Experience Mandatory:

- Graduated from Mechanical Engineering school with Master of Science degree

Desirable: None

Experience Mandatory:

- Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 1 to 2 years of experience

Desirable:

- 3D Modelling, drawing creation
- Design in heavy industry
- Concurrent Engineering
