SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY AND SYSTEMS

Heppenstall Europe S.r.l., as part of a programme of growth and investment in the steel, aerospace and nuclear sectors, is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its existing Technical Department.

The successful candidate will work alongside the current engineering team on the development of special-purpose machinery, lifting equipment and material handling systems for high-technology industrial applications.

Main responsibilities

- 2D/3D mechanical design;
- development of special-purpose machinery and equipment;
- sizing and design of structures and components;
- preparation of manufacturing drawings and bills of materials;
- technical coordination with production, suppliers and customers;
- support during testing and commissioning activities.

Candidate profile

- Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- proven experience in the design of industrial machinery or systems;




- good level of autonomy in engineering and design activities;
- preferably previous experience in the steel, aerospace, nuclear, lifting or heavy material handling sectors;
- good command of English;
- knowledge of French as a preferred second foreign language.
