Scheduled to open in Winter 2026, the resort will mark the debut of Mandarin Oriental in one of Italy's most renowned mountain destinations, combining the legendary heritage of the Cristallo with Mandarin Oriental's exceptional service, refined design, and award-winning hospitality. /ppThe resort will feature elegantly appointed rooms and suites, exceptional dining experiences, a world-class Spa Wellness Centre, and curated year-round experiences designed for discerning international travellers seeking the finest alpine luxury. /ppJoining the pre-opening team offers a unique opportunity to help shape one of Europe's most anticipated luxury hotel openings, contributing to the creation of an extraordinary guest experience from day one. /ph3About The Role /h3pBased at Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, Cortina, the Staff House Manager is responsible for the successful pre-opening and ongoing management of all colleague accommodation provided or arranged by the hotel. Reporting to the Director of People Culture, the role oversees the planning, allocation, administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of all staff housing, ensuring a safe, comfortable and well-managed living environment that supports colleague wellbeing, engagement and operational excellence. /ppAs a Staff House Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties: /ph3Pre-Opening Responsibilities /h3ulliSupport the planning, setup and opening of all colleague accommodation prior to the resort opening. /liliCoordinate the preparation, furnishing and readiness of staff houses and externally leased apartments. /liliDevelop accommodation procedures, house rules, operating standards and allocation processes. /liliEstablish accommodation inventories, documentation, reporting tools and operational controls. /liliCoordinate utility activation,
supplier onboarding and service contracts prior to colleague arrivals. /liliSupport the accommodation planning for the recruitment and onboarding of the pre-opening workforce. /li /ulh3Operational Responsibilities /h3ulliManage the daily operation of all staff accommodation facilities and externally leased apartments. /liliCoordinate room allocations, colleague arrivals, departures and transfers in line with operational requirements. /liliEnsure accommodation is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, presentation and functionality. /liliAct as the primary point of contact for all colleague accommodation enquiries, requests and welfare-related matters. /liliPromote a respectful, inclusive and positive living environment while ensuring compliance with accommodation policies and house rules. /liliCoordinate inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs and refurbishment projects with Engineering, landlords and external contractors. /liliManage accommodation inventories, keys, access devices, furniture, equipment and company assets. /liliMonitor utility consumption, accommodation costs and operating expenses while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. /liliReview supplier invoices and support budget management, forecasting and financial reporting. /liliEnsure compliance with health, safety, fire prevention and local regulatory requirements across all accommodation facilities. /liliCoordinate emergency procedures, accommodation inspections and risk assessments where required. /liliPrepare regular occupancy, maintenance and financial reports for People Culture and Finance. /liliBuild strong relationships with landlords,
suppliers and external accommodation providers. /liliLead, coach and develop any colleagues or contractors supporting accommodation operations. /liliCollaborate closely with People Culture, Engineering, Security, Finance and operational departments to ensure an outstanding colleague experience. /liliOrganise colleague engagement initiatives and community activities within the staff accommodation environment to promote wellbeing and a positive living experience. /liliPerform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Director of People Culture. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliDegree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, Property Management, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred. /liliMinimum 3 years' experience in staff accommodation, employee housing, facilities management, residential property management or hospitality operations. /liliPrevious experience within a luxury hotel, resort or seasonal destination is highly desirable. /liliPrevious pre-opening experience is considered a strong advantage. /liliExperience managing leased apartments, landlords, utility contracts, inventories and accommodation handovers. /liliStrong planning, administrative and organizational skills. /liliGood understanding of property maintenance, health safety and accommodation operations. /liliFinancial awareness with experience managing budgets, invoices and operating costs. /liliExcellent interpersonal, communication and conflict-resolution skills. /liliAbility to handle confidential colleague matters with professionalism and discretion. /liliStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems. /liliFluent English and Italian. /liliValid driving licence and flexibility to travel between accommodation locations when required. /li /ulh3Compensation /h3pb€38,500 Gross Annual Salary (RAL) /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
