Have you ever wondered what it’s really like to work in consulting ? Want to put your analytical and coding skills to the test by tackling a real-world challenge?

Join the Oliver Wyman Data & Analytics Hackathon Challenge in Milan — an opportunity to challenge yourself, meet other talented students and young professionals, and get a first-hand look at how we work at Oliver Wyman. You can apply individually or as a pair .

During the challenge, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills to a real business problem, work alongside other participants, and learn from consultants and experts from our Data & Analytics team.

Our Data & Analytics team combines technical expertise, analytical thinking, and deep industry knowledge to solve complex problems and create lasting impact for our clients. You can learn more about the work of our teams here.

Selected candidates will be invited to our Milan office on Friday 20th November for a full day immersion where they’ll work in teams on a challenge inspired by a real consulting project . Throughout the day, you’ll analyze the problem, develop your solution, and present your recommendations to a panel of Oliver Wyman experts .

And, of course, there’s a competitive side too: the winning team will receive a special prize!

But the opportunity doesn’t end there.

Who can apply?

This challenge could be for you if:

- You’re a final-year university student or recent graduate in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- You’re fluent in Italian and English .
- You’re comfortable using at least one programming language to explore and analyze data, such as Python or R.
- You enjoy working as part of a team , exchanging ideas, and learning quickly.
- You’re curious, eager to challenge yourself, and ready to have some fun along the way .

The selection process will take place in October 2026 and will include a combination of conversational and case interviews with Oliver Wyman Data & Analytics consultants and our HR team.

We’re interested not only in what you know, but also in how you think and approach problems . Throughout the process, we’ll explore your problem-solving skills , your fit with our collaborative environment, and your motivation to pursue a career in Data & Analytics consulting.

Selected candidates will be notified in the beginning of November 2026.
