The selected candidate will contribute to the development, testing, and validation of engine and transmission calibration solutions, ensuring performance, drivability, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the vehicle development cycle. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, implement, and validate powertrain calibration solutions for engine and transmission systems. /li liPerform calibration and optimization activities related to drivability, torque management, gear shifting, idle speed, thermal protection, anti-stall, and component protection functions. /li liExecute vehicle testing and validation activities in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, altitude, and standard conditions). /li liAnalyze test data, identify issues, and propose corrective and preventive actions. /li liSupport functional, dysfunctional, and inter-system validation activities. /li liEnsure calibration delivery and integration according to project milestones and quality requirements. /li liPrepare technical reports, document test results, and maintain calibration databases and repositories. /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and technical review committees. /li liContribute to the development of automated tools and processes for data analysis and validation activities.
/li liSupport software and calibration releases, ensuring compliance with performance, emissions, and quality targets. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. /li li2 to 5 years of experience in automotive calibration, powertrain development, or vehicle validation activities. /li liKnowledge of engine and transmission calibration principles, drivability assessment, and powertrain systems. /li liExperience with calibration and data analysis tools such as INCA, MDA, CRETA, Concerto, Optisim, or equivalent. /li liFamiliarity with vehicle testing, data acquisition, and validation methodologies. /li liUnderstanding of control systems, vehicle communication networks (CAN), and basic electrical concepts. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office tools. /li liValid driver's license and availability to participate in vehicle testing activities. /li liFluent English, both written and spoken. /li /ul pbWork location: /b on-site, Michigan (USA). /p h3International mobility hiring process /h3 pFor international opportunities, selected candidates may initially be employed under a local contract aligned with project and mobility requirements.
