Reporting to the Head Pastry Chef and senior culinary leadership, the role is responsible for the preparation and production of breads, viennoiserie and other baked products, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency and presentation across the resort. /p h3As a Baker Chef, you will be responsible for the following duties: /h3 h3Pre-Opening Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the setup and operational readiness of the bakery section prior to opening. /li liContribute to the development and testing of bread, viennoiserie and bakery recipes. /li liAssist with equipment commissioning, ingredient selection and supplier evaluation. /li liParticipate in tastings, mock services and pre-opening training activities.



/li liEstablish production routines and support implementation of food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures. /li /ul h3Operational Responsibilities /h3 ul liPrepare and produce breads, rolls, viennoiserie and other bakery products according to approved recipes and standards. /li liManage dough preparation, fermentation, proofing and baking processes to ensure consistent quality. /li liPlan daily production according to outlet requirements, occupancy and events. /li liEnsure products meet the highest standards of taste, texture, appearance and freshness. /li liMonitor ingredient quality, stock levels, storage and rotation. /li liMaintain bakery equipment and work areas in excellent condition. /li liControl waste and support food cost objectives through efficient production and ingredient utilisation. /li liSupport, train and guide junior bakery colleagues. /li liCollaborate with Pastry and Culinary teams to meet operational requirements across the resort. /li liPerform any other reasonable duties assigned by senior culinary leadership. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liProfessional bakery, pastry or culinary qualification is preferred. /li liProven experience as a Baker Chef or Baker within a luxury hotel, artisan bakery, fine dining or comparable high-quality environment. /li liPrevious pre-opening experience is considered an advantage. /li liStrong knowledge of bread making, fermentation, sourdough, viennoiserie and professional baking techniques. /li liGood understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards. /li liStrong production planning and organisational skills. /li liAttention to detail and passion for craftsmanship and product quality. /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a multicultural culinary team. /li liGood command of English or Italian; knowledge of both is considered an advantage. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
