ppAbout This Role Job Description For near retirement Commercial Pilots, becoming a Synthetic Flight Instructor will be a highly rewarding and satisfying transition. Drawing on your expert knowledge of Airbus A330/A350 systems, you will lead and mentor our clients through their training, enabling them to achieve training objectives. /ppCAE is a world-leading training provider to commercial pilots. On a day-to-day basis, you will be working with a number of different organizations and nationalities. We work with the most advanced technologies in the industry and can guarantee an exciting role where no two days are the same. /ph3Role and Responsibilities: /h3ulliProvides simulator/ flight instruction on one single type rating for the issue of licenses, type rating and certificates or provide ground school instruction in class /liliResponsible for conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner and in accordance with CAE standards /liliOther required administrative duties (completes training records, recommends remedial training when necessary, track his/her own instructional qualifications, etc.) /liliParticipates in creation of curricula and courseware when required /lili40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays depending on the course schedule and sharing the work between the whole team of instructors. /lilitravel to other CAE offices may be required /li /ulh3The role we are offering you: /h3pWorking with our airline client partners to provide high quality synthetic training on A330/A350 platforms Classroom tuition including briefings, debriefings, and simulator details. /ppOther classroom-based training may be required at times Concise, timely and accurate report writing, as well as maintaining up-to-date trainee records Flagging areas of deficiency and making recovery plans including remedial training /ph3You will need: /h3ulliLicense: EASA – SFI certificate with A330/A350 Type Rating /liliA true passion for instructing with a strong background in training /liliAn adaptable personality,



with the ability to work with others to achieve the best outcomes /liliExcellent communication skills /liliExcellent client focus /liliAttention to detail, administration, and the ability to maintain accurate records using MS Office /liliEU Passport or the right to live and work within the EU /liliExcellent English as you will work with international students. /li /ulh3Desirable qualities: /h3ulliIdeally based in Italy.
