At Saipem, we embrace diversity as a driver of innovation and inclusion, while prioritizing people’s safety and environmental sustainability, even in the most challenging conditions. /p pPurpose of the position: /p pAs Expert Electrical Engineer – Power System Studies (ETAP), you will join our Electrical Engineering Department within the Energy Carriers business line. /p pHow can you support us? /p pAn experienced Electrical Engineer with solid expertise in power system studies, who will be responsible for performing and coordinating the following activities: /p ul liDevelop, review and coordinate electrical system studies for onshore and floaters Oil Gas facilities using ETAP and other industry-standard software; /li liPerform and validate load flow, short-circuit, motor starting, transient stability protection coordination, arc flash, harmonic analysis, and grounding studies in accordance with project requirements and international standards; /li liPrepare study philosophies, reports, technical notes and engineering deliverables related to power system analysis; /li liEnsure compliance of electrical system design with applicable codes, standards, client specifications and project contractual requirements; /li liSupport the definition and optimization of electrical network architectures during proposal,
FEED and EPC phases; /li liReview Vendor documentation and analyze the impact of equipment data on power system studies; /li liSupport the Project Team in the evaluation of technical queries, design changes and management of electrical network modifications throughout the project lifecycle; /li liProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers involved in power system studies and ETAP modelling activities; /li liSupport the development of electrical engineering best practices, lessons learned and departmental competence growth in power system analysis. /li /ul pWhat are we looking for? /p pEducation: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, /p pExperience: at least 8 years of experience as Electrical Engineering for the same activities within OG industry; /p ul liAdvanced knowledge of ETAP software; /li liStrong understanding of IEC, IEEE and international electrical standards; /li liExperience with power generation systems dynamic studies, MV/LV distribution networks, emergency power systems, variable speed drives and large motor installations; /li liProven capability in electrical system trouble shooting and network optimization /li /ul pWhat else should you know?
