Walks Inside Rome is a tour operator with over two decades of experience offering unique and unforgettable experiences with a focus on Rome, as well as Florence, Venice, and the Amalfi.

We seek a passionate, energetic, and experienced bookings and operations officer for a full-time position working on our bookings and operations.

What will your daily responsibilities be?
- Corresponding with agents and clients in the management of bookings.
- Responding to specific requests and tailoring tours and itineraries accordingly.
- Liaising with guides, drivers, and other personnel in the organization of tours and services.
- Leading the response to any major disruption including creating alternative itineraries, defining alternative options for clients.
- Data entry (loading availability and updating product and making changes to our in-house booking platform).
- Monitoring product competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Fluency in English and Italian.



Another language would be advantageous.
- At least 3 years prior experience in bookings and destination management
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft / Google Drive suite
- Experience of booking platforms (training will be provided upon commencement).
- Strong listening, relationship building, communication (both spoken and written), and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Well-organized with good time management skills.
- Positive “can do” attitude with a passion for travel and tourism.

Experience:
- either bookings management or tourism: 3 years (preferred)

Language:
- English (required)
- Italian (preferred)
