Keysight is looking for a Wireless Protocol Software Engineer with strong 3GPP protocol expertise to develop robust software capabilities and APIs for system configuration , working close to standards and real implementations.
In this role, you will translate evolving 3GPP specifications into system-level configurability ,



enabling reliable configuration and validation of protocol behavior across UE and base station emulation . You will contribute to early 6G pre‑standard implementation activities , partnering across disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.
This position sits at the intersection of protocol standards, software engineering, and system configuration APIs , within a multi‑site international environment .

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and optimize APIs for system‑level configurability . Validate 3GPP protocol configurations , with specific focus on RRC configuration . Support both UE and base station emulation environments. Contribute to pre‑6G standards , following 3GPP evolution and emerging requirements.
