Software Engineering Intern Location: Remote / Hybrid Job Type: Internship (Software Engineering) About the Role North Sails designs and builds sails for everything from club racers to America's Cup boats and Ultim trimarans. Behind every victory on the water sits a dedicated software team building the proprietary design and engineering tools that make it possible. We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to build and launch a real internal tool from concept to production. You will deliver a high-impact application with real users, a real deadline, and full support from our engineering team. The Project Sail graphics are currently quoted through a legacy tool embedded in an ageing application. You will rebuild this system in React and C# as an integrated module within our new manufacturing platform covering orders, quoting, and invoicing. Because the core platform already handles authentication, you will inherit a working single sign-on (SSO) system and jump straight into feature development.
Database Design: Stand up a schema within our existing database architecture.



Security & Access: Implement role-based access control (RBAC) on top of the platform's existing SSO.
Data Integration: Populate order data via API calls to existing internal systems.
Stretch Goal: Extend the platform to generate PDF work tickets carrying manufacturing instructions to the shop floor.
