The company partners with global industry players, research institutions, and technology developers to transform inventive ideas into high?value strategic assets.With a multidisciplinary team of engineers, IP specialists, and licensing professionals, the organization supports its partners in assessing technologies, analyzing patent landscapes, and building strategies that enhance the commercial value of innovation.We are seeking an experienced Patent Engineer, contributing to new business initiatives and licensing programs.The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in electronics, telecommunications or audio/video coding with solid experience in patent analysis and prosecution, preferably complemented by qualification as a European or Italian Patent Attorney.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth analysis of patent portfolios, including due diligence activities, with a focus on standardized technologies (e.G., 3GPP standards such as 4G/5G, IEEE ******, video coding standards).
Prepare and critically assess Evidence of Use (EoU) and claim charts to support licensing and enforcement activities.Perform patent and technology landscape studies using major patent databases and analytical tools.Support patent licensing and business development initiatives, including negotiations, litigation support,



and patent acquisitions.Contribute to the design and development of conformance and infringement testing methodologies.Provide support in patent prosecution activities for internally developed or licensed portfolios, in coordination with external counsel.Required Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in patent analysis, licensing, or related IP activities.Strong technical background in telecommunications, electronics, or related domains.Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications:Qualification as a European or Italian Patent Attorney (or in the process of qualification).
PhD in a relevant field, particularly in telecommunications or communication standards.Deep knowledge of telecommunications standards and protocols, especially 3GPP (4G/5G), IEEE ******, and/or video coding standards.Experience in patent licensing, enforcement, or litigation support in an international environment.Soft Skills:Influencing skills in multi-stakeholder environments.Ability to operate effectively in a multinational and multicultural environment.Strong networking capabilities, particularly in the context of standardization meetings and industry forums.Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in both in-person and remote environments.Compensation & Work Model:Salary Range: ******Flexible working arrangement: fully remote or hybrid in Turin#J-*****-Ljbffr
