Software Engineer (Backend) Verano Brianza (Hybrid) The client: Our client is a Series A company working at the intersection of AI, robotics, and high-performance computing. They're developing the core systems that power their robot's ability to process information, learn, and interact with the world in real time. Build and scale the backend systems and APIs behind a humanoid robot's cognitive platform Own real-time communication and messaging infrastructure (Web Sockets, MQTT/NATS/Redis Pub/Sub) alongside distributed systems architecture Manage containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes/Helm) and contribute to CI/CD automation Work across No SQL and SQL databases, with close collaboration across frontend, robotics, and infrastructure teams Drive performance, reliability, and code quality through reviews and ongoing optimisation About you: Degree-qualified (Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience),



with 2+ years' backend engineering under your belt Deep Python expertise, including concurrent programming (asyncio, multithreading, multiprocessing) Track record building distributed systems with Web Sockets/Pub/Sub messaging and Docker Comfortable with SQL and No SQL databases (e.g. Mongo DB, Postgre SQL) and Git-based workflows Strong communicator and problem-solver, fluent in English Desirables: CI/CD tooling (e.g. Git Hub Actions), cloud platform experience, and Kubernetes What can you expect?
