We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a leading international engineering organisation on a major data centre project in Milan, Italy.This is a senior technical leadership role with genuine ownership of the electrical engineering scope, covering design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.The RoleYou’ll be responsible for:- Leading electrical engineering delivery across the project- Managing and coordinating the electrical engineering team- Reviewing electrical designs and identifying technical gaps and risks- Working across LV and MV electrical systems- Validating cable sizing and technical assessments- Preparing and managing electrical technical submittals- Coordinating design with BIM and construction teams- Supporting electrical equipment procurement and vendor management- Providing technical support throughout installation- Conducting electrical system walkdowns- Managing specialist vendors during commissioning- Coordinating testing, commissioning and system handover- Compiling test packs, FTOPs and O&M; documentation- Supporting client training- Managing technical interfaces with clients, designers, contractors and suppliers- Supporting programme,



QA and EHS requirements- Mentoring and developing project and graduate engineersWe’re Looking ForYou’ll ideally have:- 7+ years’ electrical project engineering experience- Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Building Services Engineering- Strong LV/MV experience- Major construction project experience- Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical experience- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and design standards- Experience with ETCI, BS 7671, EN and IEC standards- Strong technical submittal and design review experience- Experience with electrical installation, testing and commissioning- Strong client, consultant, vendor and contractor management experience- Excellent technical problem-solving and decision-making skills- Strong leadership and communication skills- Experience mentoring and developing engineersExperience with Amtech, DIALux, AutoCAD 2D, Adobe Pro and MS Office would be advantageous.This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Electrical Engineer looking to take genuine ownership of electrical engineering delivery on a technically complex, mission-critical data centre project.#J-18808-Ljbffr
