As a workshop operator, you will be responsible for: - During turning and inspection activities, the operator will complete item inspection plans, identify materials, and perform preliminary inspections of parts in accordance with applicable specifications
- During machining and inspection activities, the operator will be responsible for maintaining the workstation and ensuring compliance with production line management rules
- The operator will be asked to suggest improvements to their activities, in accordance with the company's continuous improvement program
- They will participate in weekly discussions on safety and quality issues within their team (Safety & Quality Talk). **Fuel your passion**
To be successful in this role, you will: - Have a high school diploma (preferably a Mechanical Engineer)
- Have proven experience operating CNC vertical lathes
- Demonstrate knowledge of Baker Hughes products Knowledge of CNC turning Be available to work shifts (including weekends, if necessary)
- Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility
