is preparing a proposal for the project
“Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost.”
The programme aims to strengthen cooperation between
Africa and the European Union in the space sector , supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.
In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified
Non Key Expert – Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Expert
to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the programme's monitoring, evaluation and learning framework.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills University degree at
Master’s level
in
evaluation, statistics/data science, development economics, social sciences , or a related field. In the absence of such degree,
four additional years of relevant professional experience . Excellent command of
English .
Working knowledge of
French and/or Portuguese
will be considered an asset.
Minimum General Professional Experience Minimum
8 years of professional experience
in
monitoring and evaluation, results-based management, programme evaluation and/or applied data analysis .
Minimum Specific Professional Experience At least
4 years of professional experience
in the
design and/or operation of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks
for donor-funded or complex multi-partner programmes, including indicators, baselines, data collection protocols, evidence consolidation and/or impact assessment. Experience with EU-funded programmes and in Africa is an asset.
