ppWe are looking for btwo Junior Account Managers /b to join our Sales team in Italy. This is a role combining desk-based account management with field sales activities, including regular visits to assigned customers. /p pIn this role, you will support Senior Account Managers in managing key customers, provide commercial and operational support to the sales agent network, and take direct responsibility for selected customers and/or assigned territories. You will contribute to business development, customer satisfaction and the achievement of sales objectives. /p pThis is a dynamic opportunity with direct exposure to customers, sales agents and cross-functional teams, offering the chance to develop commercial, analytical and customer management skills in an international business environment. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liManage and develop relationships with assigned customers, both remotely and through field visits. /li liSupport Senior Account Managers in the day-to-day management of key customers, contributing to the coordination of commercial and operational activities. /li liProvide support to sales agents, facilitating communication, following up on customer requests and helping to resolve potential issues. /li liCommunicate effectively and efficiently with customer contacts, ensuring a high level of service, responsiveness and customer satisfaction. /li liBuild strong internal relationships across functions, including Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, RD, Logistics and Procurement, to ensure a coordinated and customer-focused approach. /li liPrepare reports, analyses and presentations to support commercial activities. /li liUse analytical tools, ERP systems, CRM and commercial reports to identify gaps, improvement opportunities and possible solutions. /li liMonitor customer and territory performance, identifying risks,
opportunities and corrective actions. /li liContribute to the achievement of volume, operating profit and net sales value objectives. /li liSupport forecast accuracy improvement through data analysis, regular interaction with customers and agents, and performance monitoring. /li liParticipate in trade fairs and support international events. /li /ul h3Required qualifications and experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Business, Food Technology, Supply Chain or a related discipline. /li liExperience in the food industry, gained in sales or technical roles such as laboratory, application or regulatory. /li liSales experience is preferred. Alternatively, experience in an adjacent industry with a similar selling environment will be considered. /li liValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. /li liStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills. /li liAbility to prioritize effectively and manage multiple activities. /li liHighly motivated, proactive self-starter with a forward-thinking approach and strong work ethic. /li liAbility to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and at the appropriate level of the organization. /li liGood attitude to negotiation, presentation, project management and relationship development.
/li liCompetent and appropriate use of phone, email, MS Office and a variety of computer and electronic devices. /li /ul h3Preferred qualifications /h3 ul liBackground as a Food Technologist or relevant technical education. /li liPrevious experience in the flavour industry. /li liAbility to combine technical product knowledge with a customer-oriented commercial approach. /li liExperience using ERP systems, CRM platforms and commercial reporting or analytical tools. /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 pstarting from € 47300 per year: STARTING SALARY* /p pFinal salary will be determined as part of any final offer and will consider factors such as skills, education, role-specific experience, and internal equity among current employees. /p pEligible roles may also participate in one of McCormick’s Premio Plans.
