We are seeking an ambitious and driven bCategory Manager /b to support the development and growth of our EU Foodb category /b, ensuring we provide customers with the right selection of products at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will have experience in category management, buying, merchandising or procurement, with a strong ability to build meaningful supplier relationships and translate market and customer insights into effective category strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape category strategy and contribute to the growth of a dynamic and fast-growing e-commerce business. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liManage the end-to-end category management process, including assortment, pricing, supplier management, inventory and promotions.



/li liDevelop and nurture strategic partnerships with key national, regional and local suppliers. /li liAnalyse category performance, customer demand, market trends and assortment gaps to identify growth opportunities. /li liBuild and continuously optimise the product assortment to meet local customer needs. /li liMonitor inventory levels to ensure healthy stock availability and inventory efficiency. /li liDevelop and execute category sales strategies, including pricing and promotional activities. /li liDevelop long-term category strategies tailored to local market needs. /li liWork cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations and Product teams. /li /ul h3About You /h3 ul liRelevant experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising or Procurement, ideally within EU food. /li liStrong understanding of customers, market dynamics, assortment and commercial principles. /li liExperience in supplier management and building effective commercial partnerships. /li liStrong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making skills. /li liEffective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. /li liHighly driven, proactive and results-oriented. /li liFluent in Italian and English. /li /ul pAt JD.com, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
