ResponsibilitiesMake an impactResponsibility for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close under IFRS for designated legal entitiesEnsuring timely and high-quality group reportingManaging and overseeing end-to-end accounting processes in close collaboration with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger teamsAnalysing, clarifying and resolving issues arising during the financial close processPreparing, reviewing and approving journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing and presenting balance sheet reviews to internal stakeholdersResponsibility for the preparation of statutory financial statements and the coordination of annual and group auditsEnsure proper maintenance of statutory ledgers under Local GAAP;Prepare and review tax-related calculations, fiscal books and filings, as a referent point of contact with fiscal consultants;Ensure proper control and monitoring of intercompany transactions in line with Transfer Pricing policies;Acting as the key point of contact for external auditors, regulatory authorities and internal business functionsEnsuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and tax regulationsDriving the continuous improvement of processes, internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Contributing to and leading projects focused on standardisation, automation and ERP transformationProviding functional and disciplinary leadership to a small Key Accounting team in charge of all the italian legal entities of the Group, including coaching and developing team membersApplication RequirementsWhat you need to succeedDegree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a comparable qualificationSeveral years of relevant professional experience in accounting,
ideally within an international business environmentStrong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standardsExperience in preparing statutory financial statements and working with external auditorsGood knowledge of taxation and finance-related processesExperience with ERP systems, ideally SAPProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach to workHigh level of initiative and accountabilityExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate professionally with a wide range of stakeholdersInitial experience in leading or developing employees would be advantageousExcellent written and spoken English skills (business fluent)Compensation & Benefits: This position has compensation and benefits based on CCNL Commercio and company policy. The annual gross total target cash (TTC) salary range is EUR 60.000 – 65.000. Final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills, role scope, location, internal equity and applicable pay policy/collective agreement provisions.
