The successful candidate will contribute to the collection, management, analysis, and visualization of complex datasets, while developing analytical workflows, databases, and data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making and scientific research. /ppThis role requires a strong background in data science, GIS technologies, forest-based sector data analysis, and quantitative modelling, combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbr/pulliAnalyse, validate, and cross-compare European, international, national, regional, and local datasets related to wood resources and wood-based products. /liliDesign, develop, and maintain analytical databases supporting forest-based sector research and assessments. /liliCollect, clean, structure, and prepare data from heterogeneous sources, ensuring data quality and consistency. /liliDevelop and maintain annual Wood Resource Balance Sheets at EU and Member State level. /liliCreate and maintain static and web-based Sankey diagrams representing woody biomass flows, including automation scripts and update processes.
