We are seeking aField Service Technicianresponsible for theservice, maintenance, retrofitting, and installationof Ingersoll'sAFP (Automated Fiber Placement)and3DP (3D Printing)machine tools across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
This role involves bothremoteandon-site support, ensuring that customer assets perform to the highest standards and maintaining customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
Perform on-site service, maintenance, and installations of high-tech AFP and 3DP machinery.
Troubleshoot technical issues remotely and in-person.
Support retrofit projects and machine upgrades.
Ensure machines meet performance standards and optimize uptime for clients.
Build strong relationships with customers and provide professional after-sales support.
Profile Requirements:
Must-Haves:
Maximum 3 years of experience.
Based nearMilanfor proximity to CAM and INNSE-BERARDI operations.
Willing totravel internationally up to 70%, with assignments lasting up to 1 month.




Solid knowledge ofPLC and CNC systems(Siemens experience preferred).
Prior experience in amechatronics-related company(not necessarily in machine tools).
Familiarity withrobot operation,installation, andmechatronics start-ups.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Ability totroubleshoot wiringandelectrical systems.
Experience withservo-activated systems(fluid and electrical).
Understanding ofclosed and open-loop axis control.
Experience withCNC/PLC software loading, logic debugging, and parameter configuration.
Knowledge ofCNC axis compensationfor machine geometry.
Experience withAFP, ATL, LFAM technologies.
Familiarity withcomposite materials(especially hand lay-up processes).
