/ph3Job Description /h3pWe are seeking a bMedical Advisor /b in the bGastroenterology /b therapeutic area — a passionate and driven professional who is eager to make an impact and join our dynamic team.
/ppIn this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our medical strategy and work closely with key stakeholders, reporting directly to the Medical Lead.
/ppMain responsibilities include: /pulliTo warrant the bmedical know-how /b of the Affiliate regarding the brelevant therapeutic areas of assigned products /b(including AbbVie products, competitors and general knowledge of specific diseases) and to provide internal medical training when requested/necessary.
/liliTo drive bMedical activities /b to supportthe bBrand Strategy /b and integrate it into the Brand Plan /liliTo represent the Italian Affiliate in the relevant therapeutic Corporate Medical Development setting.
/liliTo prepare the bmedical plan /b of activities for each product of the relevant area, on an annual basis and to update it as appropriate.
/liliTo maintain a continuous brelationship with Key thought Leaders and External Expert /b as to the relevant therapeutic area.
/liliTo breview promotional material /bbefore the approval of the Head Scientific Service,



warranting the appropriateness of its medical content and the independence of assessment.
/liliTo breview the Summary of Product Characteristics and Insert Leaflets /b, prepared by Regulatory Affairs, before final approval of the Head Scientific Service, as to products of the relevant therapeutic area.
/liliTo support the Scientific Training Specialist(s) of the relevant Medical Affairs Unit in preparing the annual bscientific training plan for the sales force /b and its delivery, including the preparation of product handbook(s).
/liliTo provide bmedical support to the Pharmacovigilance /b Unit as to AEs reported in clinical trials on the relevant products.
/liliTo be responsible for: The bdesign of local AbbVie Medical Department Italy(AMDI) clinical studies /b; The review, approval, fulfillment of contract agreements of bInvestigator Initiated Studies (IISs).
/b /liliTo identify potential sites for carrying out International and blocal clinical studies /b and maintain a liaison with them throughout the study conduct in cooperation with Clinical Research Department.
/liliParticipate to the bdesign of AbbVie events /b, warranting an appropriate medical support to the Commercial Divisions and in agreement with the International and local SOPs.
/liliTo contribute to the design and improvement of AMDIsystems and processes (e.g. AMDI SOPs and Guidelines)



with the aim of ensuring best practice as well as compliance to all applicable regulations and Company procedures /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMedical bdegree strongly preferred /b, or Italian equivalent to Laurea Magistrale in life science/chemistry related topics.
