/p h3Role Overview /h3 pReporting to the Sales Director, you will take ownership of the Italian markets, driving both new business development and the growth of existing customer relationships.
/p pThis is a strategic yet hands-on commercial role, suited to someone who enjoys developing long-term partnerships while identifying new market opportunities.
You will work closely with internal technical and production teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers across the plastics industry.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 pAnalysing and identifying opportunities within the established catchment area, as well as contacting and acquiring new prospects to open and develop the market.
/p pCarrying out maintenance and loyalty-building work for the active client portfolio, as well as driving the growth of these accounts.
/p pBuild strong relationships with compounders, masterbatch manufacturers, polymer processors, film producers and other plastics converters.
/p pIdentify market trends, competitor activity and new commercial opportunities.
/p pDeliver regular sales forecasts, activity reports and market intelligence.
/p pWork collaboratively with technical, production and customer service teams to ensure excellent customer support.




/p pMaintain accurate CRM records and manage customer payment performance.
/p pRepresent the business at customer meetings, industry exhibitions and trade fairs throughout Europe /p h3Person Specification /h3 pProven sales experience within the plastics, polymers, additives, masterbatch, compounding or related materials industries.
/p pStrong track record of developing new business whilst managing strategic customer relationships.
/p pExperience selling technical raw materials, compounds, concentrates or additives into plastics processing markets would be highly advantageous.
/p pCommercially driven with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
/p pFluent English is essential together with Italian.
