ppThe bItalian Market Development Manager /b is responsible for leading the commercial development and market expansion of bCells‑IA /b (a Spanish digital diagnostics software company specializing in AI‑powered digital pathology solutions and a subsidiary of the pharmaceutical company Rovi) in Italy. /p pThe primary mission of this role is to establish Cells‑IA as a recognized partner within the Italian pathology ecosystem by generating market awareness, building strategic relationships, creating qualified commercial opportunities, and securing reference customers that support the company's long‑term growth. /p pThe position combines business development, strategic market analysis, commercial execution, and customer relationship management. It requires a proactive, field‑oriented approach focused on building relationships with Italian public and private healthcare organizations, pathology laboratories, clinicians, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and strategic partners. /p pSuccess will be measured by the ability to systematically develop the Italian market, create a sustainable commercial pipeline, and establish the foundations for future business growth. Success is not measured solely by revenue generation, but also by building the market foundations that enable sustainable long‑term growth. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h31. Market Development /h3 pDevelop and execute the Italian market development strategy for Cells‑IA. /p pMaintain a deep and up‑to‑date understanding of the Italian pathology landscape, including: /p ulliPublic healthcare organizations (ASLs and regional healthcare systems) /liliPublic procurement pathways /liliStrategic partners /li /ul pDevelop and continuously update a comprehensive Italian market map, identifying priority regions, hospitals, pathology departments, key decision‑makers, and commercial opportunities. /p h32. Business Development and Commercial Activities /h3 pGenerate and develop new business opportunities through proactive engagement with healthcare organizations, including: /p ulliNew account prospecting /liliBuilding relationships with hospitals and pathology departments /liliDelivering commercial presentations /liliIdentifying customer needs /liliAdvancing opportunities throughout the sales process /liliMarket mapping /liliTerritory planning /liliAccount prioritization /li /ul pMaintain an active commercial pipeline and ensure continuous progression of opportunities toward pilot projects and commercial agreements. /p h33.



Customer Relationship Management and Field Activities /h3 pRepresent Cells‑IA throughout Italy through regular face‑to‑face engagement with customers and stakeholders, including: /p ulliHospital visits /liliMeetings with pathologists /liliMeetings with Digital Pathology leaders /liliMeetings with Clinical Directors /liliMeetings with Innovation Managers /liliMeetings with Procurement teams /liliAttendance at scientific congresses and industry events /liliNetworking with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) /li /ul pDevelop strategic plans for priority hospitals, including: /p ulliDecision‑maker identification /liliClinical champion identification /liliPublic procurement pathway assessment /liliDefinition of next actions /li /ul pThe role requires frequent travel throughout Italy. /p h34. Reference Center Development /h3 pIdentify, develop, and establish at least one Italian reference center that serves as a clinical and commercial showcase for Cells‑IA. /p pLead the relationship from initial engagement through pilot definition, validation, and implementation. /p pDevelop a clear strategy to position the reference center as a platform for future commercial expansion. /p h35. Strategic Partnerships /h3 pDevelop relationships with organizations that can accelerate market penetration, including: /p ulliItalian public healthcare organizations /liliAcademic institutions /liliIndustry partners /liliDigital pathology ecosystem stakeholders /li /ul pEvaluate and develop collaboration opportunities that strengthen Cells‑IA’s position within the Italian healthcare ecosystem. /p pContinuously monitor: /p ulliMarket size and segmentation /liliCompetitor activities /liliPublic procurement opportunities /liliFunding programs /liliDigital pathology adoption /li /ul pValidate market information through customer interactions, public procurement intelligence platforms, and direct market feedback. /p pProvide regular strategic recommendations to headquarters. /p h37. Commercial Reporting /h3 pMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date reporting of: /p ulliCommercial activities /liliMeetings /liliOpportunity pipeline /liliStrategic accounts /liliNext actions /li /ul pEnsure visibility of market progress and support informed commercial decision‑making. /p pThe role is expected to continuously maintain and update:
