For us diversity is a real value, and we encourage in connecting different perspectives with respect. /p pDiscover more about our culture and approach here: /p h3bJob Description Summary: /b /h3 pThe Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of electrical infrastructure including Balance of Plant, wind farms and PV installations) across Nadara’s Italian fleet. /p pThis role involves ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to various projects from inception through to completion. /p h3bJob Description: /b /h3 pbKey Responsibilities: /b /p pb1. Design and Development: /b /p ul lipLead or support the design and specification of new electrical systems or upgrades to existing systems across the fleet, ensuring alignment with reliability and safety standards. /p /li lipCollaborate with engineering and project teams during the development phase of new assets or retrofits to integrate reliability principles from the outset. /p /li lipEvaluate and recommend new technologies, components, or systems that enhance electrical performance and reduce lifecycle costs. /p /li lipParticipate in the standardization of electrical designs and components across the fleet to streamline maintenance and improve spare parts management. /p /li lipEnsure all designs comply with relevant Italian and international electrical codes, fleet operational requirements, and Nadara’s engineering standards. /p /li lipSupport the development of technical documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system specifications. /p /li /ul pb2. Project Management and Implementation: /b /p ul lipManage and oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. /p /li lipCoordinate with other internal departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. /p /li lipPerform site inspections and supervise the installation and testing of electrical systems.



/p /li lipManage contacts and coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance activities with electrical suppliers. /p /li /ul pb3. Testing and troubleshooting: /b /p ul lipConduct tests and inspections to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical systems. /p /li lipCommission electrical systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing. /p /li lipDevelop and implement maintenance and testing procedures. /p /li lipAnalyse test results to detect anomalies, degradation, or early signs of failure, and recommend corrective actions. /p /li lipLead troubleshooting efforts for complex electrical issues, coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal operational disruption. /p /li lipUtilize advanced testing tools and techniques such as insulation resistance testing, thermographic imaging, and power quality analysis. /p /li lipDocument findings, root causes, and repair actions to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the fleet. /p /li /ul pbC /bompliance and Documentation: /p ul lipEnsure all electrical systems and maintenance activities comply with relevant Italian and EU regulations, industry standards, and Nadara’s internal policies. /p /li lipMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including inspection reports, test results, maintenance records, and engineering drawings. /p /li lipSupport audits and regulatory inspections by providing required technical documentation and evidence of compliance. /p /li lipDevelop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and reliability guidelines to reflect best practices and regulatory changes. /p /li lipPromote a culture of compliance and accountability across the fleet by reinforcing adherence to safety and quality standards. /p /li lipManage the institutional relationship with the DSOs the TSO (Terna) and the electrical regulator (ARERA). /p /li /ul pbContinuous Improvement: /b /p ul lipIdentify and implement opportunities to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and maintainability of electrical systems across the fleet. /p /li lipAnalyse failure data, maintenance trends, and performance metrics to drive data-informed improvements. /p /li lipLead or participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at reducing downtime, optimizing maintenance strategies, and extending asset life. /p /li lipPromote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned, best practices, and innovative solutions with engineering and maintenance teams.
