Job Description:

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Design & Installation Engineer.

The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry,



managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Italy.

Accountabilities
- Identify contract requirements in terms of equipment and cableways installation design and monitor their compliance within the assigned Project.
- Design, Coordinate and verify the installation design of the main railway systems technologies (Signalling, Power Supply and Traction Power, Overhead Contact Line, Telecommunications, Automatic Fare Collection, Security/Surveillance, Public Address, etc.), ensuring its compliance with the contract, system requirements, and local regulations.
- Design, coordinate and verify the cableways layout and cable routes within technical rooms and along the track system, managing filling ratios, challenging existing pathways, and proposing new ones.
- Cooperate with BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator in the definition of a
